Trawling through my emails on Friday afternoon is never fun, especially when I have a work load the size of Mount Snowdon to get on with and an empty fridge that needs filling! but that all changed once I opened up an e-mail from @instyle magazine that listed 50 buys under £50, this is a regular feature within their e-mail service and I rely on it heavily to help find and bag my best budget buys. Today they’ve excelled themselves, they’ve only gone and shown me my dream dress! Im a huge VB fan, Ive posted about her several times here and here and Ive always vowed that I will dress in her gorgeous collection one day, but now thanks to InStyle I can do that for less!
This dress is so similar to the one below from her range ‘Victoria’ by Victoria Beckham, the only difference is the round neck whereas VB continues the scalloped effect on hers. This little number is available from popcouture.co.uk for a mere £20 ! I’m thinking of investing but I feel like Im cheating VB! however, I guess its totally acceptable to bag this look-a-likey while on a student budget, right? sorry Vee.

While sat with my head swamped in work and generally stressing out, Grazia lifted my spirits by tweeting the link to images of VB hitting Harvey Nics and I LOVE it, so I’m having a little break just to write this little post.
“http://www.graziadaily.co.uk/fashion/archive/2012/01/30/its-here-victoria–victoria-beckham-arrives-at-harvey-nichols.htm oh my god, I LOVE it, I dont find the cat heads creepy at all. meowmeow. VB is so good, I want. via @Grazia_Live”
Look how hyped I was ^ haha! I love VB though; I’m such a huge fan. This obviously derives from my love of the Spice Girls, even though she wasn’t my favourite, Sporty all the way! (live to regret that now as there’s countless photo of me with stick on tattoos around my arm doing karate kick poses, umhm..) but since emerging as a designer I’ve really liked everything she has done, when she won brand of the year 2011 I just couldnt help but feel happy and little bit proud!
I love our Vic and I plan on dressing in head to toe VB “when Im older” (Im already old) and have a real job! Along side this I’m also going to have an affair with her husband..

Victoria Beckham has just been crowned British designer brand of the year! What a roller coaster few years she has had, from transforming from her Spice girl image, globe trotting with Dave and trying to find her feet in the fashion world. Well, I can now say with confidence she has firmly made an imprint on the industry.
Is anyone really surprised that she scooped this award after releasing such an elegant, womanly, silhouette perfecting SS11 range?
Not to mention keeping it fresh through Autumn this year, Victoria really did raise the bar with these vibrant colours.
I look forward to seeing more from Victoria, I think this title is exactly what she needed to and Im sure she’ll excel even further from here. Well done VB
